The BMS EduLed microscope is a high quality, robust and well equipped microscope ideal for school, study and hobby purposes. Rechargeable batteries enable the BMS EduLed to function also as a portable field microscope.
The transmitted light illumination of BMS EduLed FLArQ is performed by a LED with dimmer (for continuous variation of light intensity) and a height-adjustable Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm. This allows the instrument to have not only the usual 4x, 10x and 40x objective but also the 100x oil immersion objective. These all are DIN achromatic Semi Plan objectives. With the 10x wide field eyepiece, you get a total magnification range of 40x-400x (optional 600x and/or 1000x). The optical ingredients provide sharp, clear and true-colour images with high-contrast. The microscope has a 360º rotatable monocular viewing head, coaxial coarse and fine focusing drive and a mechanical stage which has ergonomic arranged coaxial controls for easy handling.
All the parts are locked to the microscope. The microscope has antibacterial paint on the metal parts and antifungus coating on the optical (glass) parts.
The microscope offers standard 3 types of electrical use in one microscope:
- 100~230 V connection through the included power cable
- Recharges automatically while connected to electrical power. Rechargeable batteries are available as an accessory (article number 29554; rechargeable battery AA, pack of three)
- Standard non-rechargeable batteries, type AA, 1,5 V, 3 pieces

Camera, USB2.0, 3MP CMOS kit
This BMS 3MP digital camera for microscopes is designed to capture still images, as well as stream and record live video on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The user-friendly, stand-alone software for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 offers advanced features, including stitching, EDF (Extended Depth of Focus), video-recording and measurement functions. It allows you to make notes, shapes, watermarks, and precise measurements with ease. Preview and capture resolutions can be set independently, allowing you to simultaneously view high-speed, low-resolution live video, while capturing higher-resolution images or video. The software for Linux and Mac allow you to capture still images and record video, as well as control color and exposure.
Designed using the C-mount standard, the camera with the included reduction lens and two sizing-adapters can fit 23 mm, 30 mm, and 30.5 mm photo ports and ocular ports. The reduction lens increases the field-of-view to better match what is seen through the eyepieces. Using a standard USB 2.0 connection, the camera is easy to install. Drawing power from the USB connection, no additional connections are needed. The included calibration slide allows you to take accurate measurements in the software by creating baseline measurements at multiple magnifications.
