This trinocular Polarizing Microscope is ideal for Geology, Petrology, Mineralogy and Medicine.
- Eyepieces: WF 10x/18 mm with built-in cross line reticle
- Trinocular head: with a 55 mm - 75 mm IPD range, built in Bertrand Lens and Analyzer all of which can be removed from the optical path allowing for both brightfield and polarized uses
- Stage: the fully rotatable stage is 160 mm in diameter, has ball bearing movement, detachable stage clips, an adjustable screw stop and graduation marks every degree
- Objectives: DIN Semi Plan 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x yielding magnification of 40x, 100x, 200x and 400x
- Condenser: an Abbe Condenser N.A. 1,25 with iris and swing out filter holder (included blue filter) is controllable by rack & pinion movement
- Focussing mechanism: coaxial coarse & fine adjustment mechanism with interior steel gears for precison focus movement
- Illumination: built-in universal power supply 6 V/30 W variable halogen light source
The objectives and condenser are centerable to ensure proper polarizing viewing.
Included with the microscope is a quartz wedge compensator, mica compensator 1/4 wavelength, gypsum compensator one wavelength.
This model comes with a manufactures five year warranty and free extended one year warranty for a total of six years.
